About Us

The man at the helm of JG’s Web Design is Jimmy, also known as Tippin’ Jimmy – a tongue in cheek nod at the Better Call Saul character Slippin’ Jimmy. Jimmy has been making websites since his early teens, progressing from static HTML and Dreamweaver based sites through all the latest fads. From Drupal to Joomla to WordPress and everything in between. 

Proficient in PHP, SQL, Java, CSS, React and much much more, there’s very little that Jimmy can’t turn his hand to. Supporting Jimmy is Sarah who specialises in App Development, and Vic, who is the resident bug fixer.

What We Can Do For You

Our Services

One of our specialties is cross-platform migrations, converting Joomla to WordPress and Wix to Drupal, or anything else you can think of. We can literally take any platform and move it to another, including old static HTML sites. 

Unlike many services out there, we perform these migrations manually. We start by creating the site that you want it to become and then we import your old data. We can create custom fields, post types, plug ins all in house so that your old site fits perfectly into its new home.

Be wary of automated migrations. Whilst they are much cheaper, you get what you pay for. We regularly have clients come to us to fix the mess that an automated conversion tool has made. The sites are often full of broken links, missing data and unappealing CSS.
